Sandbridge is a tranquil and quaint community of Virginia Beach. It is located on the coastline of the Atlantic Ocean along the northern boundary of the Outer Banks. The Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge is also located next to Sandbridge. This area is 15 miles south of the main resort area and the beach extends 5 miles along sand dunes and natural habitat. This area provides a great getaway for the outdoor lovers who enjoy kayaking, hiking, biking and fishing.
